Some people are so busy helping others and often forget to take care of themselves and their homes, and that clearly reflects in their home decor as they rarely have the time and energy to keep it looking at it's best.
On the programme "Velkommen Hjem" people who really deserve it are surprised by the design team with new decor, fabulous furniture and inovative design solutions - all based on the existing personal style and decor of the home.
While the family is on holiday, the designer Mette Helena Rasmussen, the builder Steen Andersen and the tv-presenter Ibi Støving move into the house and start decorating with the help from friends, neighbours and colleagues.
And when the family returns from their holiday, Mette Helena, Steen, Ibi and all the friends welcome them home to a new house and a fresh start to a new life.
